Medium Parrot Cages
Our medium bird cages are perfect for those "in-betweener" species. Those types of parrots that are too large for the smaller cages & too small for the largest cages.
Specifically, the following species generally fit into the Medium category: smaller African Greys, smaller Amazons, Caiques, smaller Cockatoos, Conures, Lories, Mini Macaws, Pionus, Quakers, and Senegals.
If you are the owner of a smaller species or multiple birds, feel free to give them extra space to enjoy themselves. To ensure your bird will be safe, before choosing a medium-sized enclosure be sure to check our bar spacing guide here.
We have every style imaginable, and enclosures made by strictly the best manufacturers. These cages are built to keep your bird safe and your home beautiful at the same time!

How To Choose A Cage For Your Medium-Sized Bird
Here are our recommendations for selecting the best medium parrot cage.
- Overall Cage Size:
- At least 24"x24" for smaller African Greys, smaller Amazons, Caiques, smaller Cockatoos, Conures, Lories, Mini Macaws, Pionus, Quakers, and Senegals
- Medium Bird Cage Bar Spacing:
- 1/2" to 3/4" for the above mid-sized species
While the absolute minimum bird cage size specifications are shown above, we implore you to get the largest option possible, while staying within the bar spacing range.
Roomier enclosures will give your parrot even more space to climb, roam, and fly around.
